LubavitchNetwork is a network centered around Chabad websites across the internet. The network was established with the goal of bringing about the revelation of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, King Moshiach, may he live forever.
Shortly after the internet began gaining momentum, a void existed regarding Jewish content. Over time, some websites emerged, but they were not sufficient to fill the gap. In 2000, the Lubavitch Network organization was founded, setting as its mission to fill this void on the internet. The initiative began with a news website (Chabad News) and grew daily. In 2002, the website chabad.AM was launched as a virtual Chabad House, able to provide answers and support to every Jew, wherever they may be, in matters of Judaism.
The network provides extensive information on Jewish topics—holiday information, engaging and dynamic Jewish content, resources for youth and children, and even the option to ask a rabbi through the site.
From the day it was established, the site received the blessing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, King Moshiach, may he live forever, through the Igrot Kodesh. The site also follows the Rebbe’s directive to close on Shabbat and Jewish holidays.
